On 17-19 May, the 17th conference of the Slovak Parking Association (SPA) took place in the High Tatras. It was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic. The main topic of the event was Parking in Cities. The conference was attended by 125 experts from local authorities, state and public administration, universities, parking operators, designers, manufacturers and suppliers of parking equipment and related services. Bratislava Will Use the ParkDots System for Monitoring Parking in Ružinov
In connection with the preparation of a city-wide parking policy in Bratislava, individual city districts start to regulate parking in some selected zones. The regulation of parking has been in place for some time in the residential area known as 500 Flats in the Ružinov District. On most streets, parking is allowed during the day only for residents. ParkDots monitors the eligibility of parking at designated areas in Karlova Ves in Bratislava
People with severe disabilities can park their vehicles in Bratislava’s Karlova Ves a little bit easier since April. Karlova Ves, as the first in Slovakia, is testing a smart parking system that evaluates the eligibility of use of reserved parking spaces. In the pilot operation, 23 parking spaces in Pribišova Street have been equipped with road sensors. Successful test of ZSE Drive Intelligent parking with the ParkDots platform
