DCOM lets citizens and companies arrange their agenda with municipalities anytime, anywhere. “Opening hours” will be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All that’s needed is an internet connection, and you can arrange everything from the comfort of your own home or office. Instead of wasting time running around offices, people will be able to devote themselves to what is truly important to them. The project generates significant time and costs savings for individuals and firms alike. . Connections to various state registers also reduce the administrative burden and margin for error. For towns and villages, DCOM provides a whole spectrum of additional benefits. Local government offices will be equipped with new computer equipment, with the provision of call centre support and servicing work, while the system guarantees compliance with legislation”, notes Andrej Belánik, Executive director of DEUS.
