The client is an international insurance company and part of a multinational financial group. It operates through branches in a number of European countries, including Slovakia. Across the region, a team of several hundred experienced specialists contributes to its operations.
The company has been active on the Slovak market for several years and specialises in non-life insurance for individual clients as well as small and large businesses. Its portfolio mainly includes property and liability insurance, travel and accident insurance, and motor insurance. The nature of its business – managing sensitive personal and financial data, processing insurance policies and settling claims quickly – places high demands on the reliability, security and availability of IT services, which directly support employees’ day-to-day work and the quality of client services.
PosAm delivered to the client a comprehensive solution for modernising endpoint management as part of the Modern End-User Services (mEUS) approach. The implementation included the deployment of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Universal Print for approximately 800 users and devices across multiple locations in Europe – at the headquarters and at the individual branches.
The insurer was looking for a supplier able to take its existing Microsoft Intune implementation to the next level and unify endpoint management across its entire region of operation.
The challenge was to:
PosAm carried out the implementation as part of the comprehensive Modern End-User Services (mEUS) approach, which covers endpoint management, security policies and modern cloud services within a unified Microsoft 365 and Entra ID ecosystem.
The delivered solution includes:
Automated device deployment without the need for manual intervention by an IT technician
By implementing Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Universal Print, the insurer gained a unified, modern-managed platform for endpoints and print infrastructure across all its branches in Europe. Both solutions are part of the same Microsoft 365 and Entra ID cloud ecosystem, which means unified administration, consistent security policies and lower total operating costs compared to separate on-premises solutions.
The project also laid the foundation for further expanding the insurer’s Zero Trust strategy and cloud-first approach, and confirms PosAm’s ability to deliver complex endpoint care projects even in an international environment with high demands on security, availability and regulatory compliance.
