The company PosAm was again included in the final five nominations for the prestigious IT COMPANY of the year award. Out of nominated 150 companies, PosAm was chosen by the committee comprising IT journalists and representatives of specialized IT organizations. The committee evaluated development of unique products, introduction of new services, export of products with high volume of own value added, development of new market segments, investments in company development, cooperation with academic sphere and research institutions or public projects. The submitted projects were evaluated by the committee in terms of benefit for target groups, in terms of solution originality as well as project references. Results achieved in 2011 were the base for evaluation, however, the committee took long-term development into consideration, too.

Slovak Telekom sells its stake in PosAm subsidiary
Slovak Telekom Group has announced a further change in its structure. Slovak Telekom has sold its 51% stake in PosAm – which it owned since 2010 – and as a result, PosAm will once again operate independently on the Slovak ICT market from March 3rd, 2023. Slovak Telekom agreed on the buyback of 51% of the company’s share directly with its founder and CEO Marián Marek.
