On March 21st 2012 the specialist conference on New Ways of Optimization and Reduction of Costs: Application & IT infrastructure 2012-2015 took place in Bratislava.
Purpose of this event was to communicate strategies, possible ways and solutions of optimizing IT infrastructures in order to reduce costs. Peter Krošlák, Product Manager for Cloud, Virtualization and Application Delivery PosAm, took part and introduced his presentation “Chianti di Desktop Virtual 2012: D’epoca Stupido?” where he focused on economic and material reasons for desktop transformation projects by means of virtualization. In addition to technological trends and his insider’s look at the various technologies and their pros and cons, he also answered the principal question of economic reasons for these solutions.

Slovak Telekom sells its stake in PosAm subsidiary
Slovak Telekom Group has announced a further change in its structure. Slovak Telekom has sold its 51% stake in PosAm – which it owned since 2010 – and as a result, PosAm will once again operate independently on the Slovak ICT market from March 3rd, 2023. Slovak Telekom agreed on the buyback of 51% of the company’s share directly with its founder and CEO Marián Marek.
