itSMF Annual Conference: focusing on relations between IT and business

News
Published 14.5.2015

Around a hundred participants listened to 15 interesting presentations at the conference. The topics included: compliance of IT services with business requirements, the future of IT services management, dialogue between IT and top management, also with the chance to get a practical insight into the concept Business-IT Alignment, agile approach in implementing orders, and more.

Juraj Pavol, product manager at PosAm, presented a solution that extends the standard ITSM tool to include a mobile application, field management and biometric signatures. The solution, which goes beyond the standard requirements of ITSM, converts into more effective use of working time, more thorough measurement of workload and better utilisation of workers, greater information provision to customers, and paper-free processes. Questions from the audience showed how this functional and practically applied solution justifiably generated interest among experts at the conference.

PosAm has been devoted to IT services management and accompanying support tools for many years already. The outcome of its own development work is the solution PosAm Servio, which is now used by more than 38 customers. The new generation of the solution has extended options and provides a greater useful value, including mobile applications for solutionists and users, and support for paper-free processes with the use of biometric signatures. To sign documents without the need for paper, we employ another of our own solutions – PosAm bSign (www.posam.sk/bsign). References from the banking and telecommunications sectors place PosAm among the leaders also in this area. A comprehensive solution for the management of IT services is therefore now a daily reality enjoyed by thousands of satisfied users.

Workforce management vo Východoslovenskej distribučnej sme rozšírili o ďalšie procesy

PosAm workforce management systém zmenil zložitý papierový proces vybavovania pracovných príkazov na automatizovaný a elektronický postup. Plánovanie prác, prerozdeľovanie pracovných príkazov, zaznamenávanie údajov, prenos dát do centrálnych systémov, všetko prebieha v elektronickej podobe.
